Saving families,
one person at a time
Casa Tat Loy is an alcohol and drug treatment and rehabilitation program in the Lake Atilan region of Guatemala. Daily, more than seventy men and twenty women are offered compassionate care and support as they seek rehabilitation and recovery. Our vision is to provide the very best care possible to indigenous Mayans who struggle with alcoholism and and addiction. The goal of the program is sobriety and family reunification.
“Casa” is the Spanish word for “house” and “Tat-loy” comes from teh Mayan for “grandfather.” CASA TAT LOY captures the vision of a multigenerational home restored to health and joy.
The work of Casa Tat Loy is partially funded by the generous donations and gifts offered friends and supporters in Tallahassee, across Florida, and across the region.
